Role
Motion Designer / Broadcast Graphic Designer — concept, art direction, typography, lighting treatment, animation, and compositing.
Project goal
Build an opener around the strongest element of a personality-led television programme: the presenter himself. For Mykola Veresen’s show, the idea was to avoid decorative branding and make the name the entire stage — direct, theatrical, and impossible to miss.
Creative and technical approach
The composition is reduced to monochrome typography, darkness, and concentrated beams of light. Large letterforms are treated almost like physical objects standing in a studio: light catches their edges, reveals depth, and creates brief moments of glare and shadow. This turns a simple wordmark into a small performance.
The restraint is deliberate. With no complex imagery competing for attention, timing and illumination carry the emotion of the opener. The sequence gradually reveals the name, builds presence, and then lets the title occupy the frame with the confidence of a host entering the stage.
Result
A concise, personality-driven show identity where typography becomes scenography. The opener is minimal in elements but strong in presence — exactly suited to a programme whose central brand is the presenter’s name.
