Game Day — High-Energy Sports Broadcast Opener

Role
Motion Designer / Broadcast Graphic Designer — concept, visual design, animation, compositing, and modular project development.

Project goal
Create a sports opener that feels fast before the action even starts. The sequence needed the visual pressure of a live broadcast — speed, competition, information, and anticipation — while remaining flexible enough to work with different athletes, teams, footage, and branding.

Creative and technical approach
The design combines isolated athletes with dark spatial layers, sharp horizontal lines, data-like details, and flashes of accent colour. Instead of filling the frame with effects, the composition uses controlled zones of information: the athlete remains the hero while graphic elements create direction and momentum around the body.
Timing is built around short bursts and clean pauses, so the viewer has just enough time to read each image before the next movement arrives. The project structure was designed modularly as well, allowing footage, typography, colours, and pacing to be adapted without rebuilding the visual logic from scratch.

Result
A broadcast-ready sports opener with a strong game-day atmosphere — energetic on screen, clear in hierarchy, and practical enough to become a reusable identity rather than a one-off sequence.
