Geometry in Motion — Modular Rhombus Media Opener

Role
Motion Designer / Broadcast Graphic Designer — concept, visual system, animation, compositing, and template development.

Project goal
Build a clean contemporary opener from one simple geometric idea. The challenge was to make repeated rhombus forms feel dynamic rather than decorative — turning them into a flexible visual system capable of carrying footage, typography, and transitions with a clear rhythm.

Creative and technical approach
The entire design grows out of angled geometry. Rhombus-shaped frames split, overlap, and slide across the composition, creating directional movement and constantly reshaping the screen. Footage is revealed through masks and intersecting planes, while typography follows the same visual logic so that image and text feel like parts of one system rather than separate layers.
The motion is deliberately precise: quick transitions are balanced by clean pauses, and the palette can be adapted without changing the character of the piece. The After Effects project was structured for straightforward customization, allowing footage, text, and colors to be replaced while preserving the original pacing and geometry.

Result
A sharp, modular media opener with a strong graphic identity — suitable for fashion, events, corporate presentations, promos, and digital storytelling where a modern geometric rhythm is more important than visual excess.
