Interactive Scene - Hotel Fanes di Selva di Val Gardena

Interactive Scene – Hotel Fanes, Selva di Val Gardena

Role
Drone Pilot / Visual Creator — aerial photography, capture planning, Luma AI spatial reconstruction and scene development.

Project goal
An experiment in spatial storytelling created from roughly a hundred drone photographs taken around Hotel Fanes in Selva di Val Gardena. Instead of using the aerial images only as still photographs, the set was processed with Luma AI to reconstruct an interactive scene that can be explored from new viewpoints. The objective was to explore how emerging spatial-capture tools could transform still photography into a more immersive way of presenting a real place and give the viewer a sense of moving through space.

Creative and technical approach
The project sits between drone photography, spatial capture and neural rendering. Its value lies in the transformation itself: a sequence of ordinary aerial frames becomes a navigable digital space, opening a different way to present architecture and landscape beyond conventional photo or video.

The technical experiment was approached as a visual storytelling tool rather than a technology demo for its own sake. Capture density, camera coverage and scene readability were considered together so the reconstructed space could remain understandable and visually convincing.

Result
A navigable digital reconstruction that extends the Hotel Fanes imagery beyond a conventional photo or drone video. By turning roughly a hundred aerial photographs into an explorable scene, the project demonstrates a new way for hospitality brands to present location, architecture and landscape with a stronger sense of presence.
