Role
Motion Designer / Visual Designer — concept, design, and animation.
Project goal
Create a high-energy, versatile opener that gives content (including extreme sports) an instantly recognizable look—raw, physical, and analog, as if every frame has actually passed through light, dust, and hands.
Creative and technical approach
The concept is recorded memory: images that don’t appear perfectly clean, but etched into film. The design blends vintage optics/photographic film cues with a grunge layer of controlled imperfection—scratches, dust, and texture that make the visuals feel tactile and real.
Motion is intentionally “nervy”: subtle jitters, jumps, glitches, and timed interruptions that mimic film transport behavior and turn transitions into part of the storytelling. Even when the footage changes, the system keeps a strong signature: rhythm, friction, energy.
Result
A bold, cinematic grunge opener—ideal for action, sports, and adrenaline-driven content, yet versatile enough to work as a distinctive visual identity for editorial or branded pieces looking for a modern analog feel.
