Project goal:
This video was created to highlight Vallunga, a pristine natural valley near Selva di Val Gardena, as an emotional and immersive winter destination. The goal was to visually convey the peacefulness, elegance, and natural magic of the area, while subtly connecting it to the comfort and prestige of Hotel Fanes — a perfect conclusion to an adventurous day in the Dolomites.
Creative and technical approach:
The concept focused on atmosphere and emotion, portraying Vallunga as a tranquil, almost untouched sanctuary in winter. The project combined aerial shots from the DJI Mavic 4 Pro with ground-level footage, emphasizing texture, light, and silence.
All editing, color grading, sound design, and audio mixing were done in DaVinci Resolve, while compositing, clean-up, and visual effects were handled in Adobe After Effects to create a cinematic, poetic tone.
Result:
A 20-second short film created for use on social media and digital campaigns. More than a simple promotion, it is a sensory invitation — to slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover alpine beauty just steps away from Hotel Fanes.
