Project goal:
This video aims to immerse the viewer in the majestic, almost surreal landscape of Sassolungo, capturing its timeless grandeur and emotional resonance. The objective was to evoke a sense of wonder and calm, positioning the hotel not just as a place to stay, but as a gateway to awe.
Creative and technical approach:
The visual narrative unfolds as a meditative flight over alpine cliffs, meadows, and the mysterious City of Stones. The drone (DJI Mavic 4 Pro) was used to emphasize scale, light, and movement, creating a cinematic experience filled with texture and depth.
The entire editing, color grading, sound design, and audio mixing were done in DaVinci Resolve, while compositing and visual effects were crafted in Adobe After Effects, ensuring visual clarity and emotional coherence.
Result:
A poetic aerial short film designed for the hotel’s online portfolio and social media. The piece blends storytelling with ambient emotion, inviting the audience to feel the sublime serenity of the Dolomites — and discover Hotel Fanes as the perfect alpine refuge.
