Interactive Scene of a Private House

Role
Visual Creator / Spatial Capture — image capture, scene reconstruction, visual development and presentation.

Project goal
An exploratory spatial-capture study of a private house, using image-based reconstruction to move beyond conventional photography. The source photographs were treated as input for a digital scene that could be viewed from positions that were not part of the original camera sequence. The objective was to explore how emerging spatial-capture tools could transform still photography into a more immersive way of presenting a real place and give the viewer a sense of moving through space.

Creative and technical approach
As an experiment, the project is valuable precisely because it exposes the strengths and limits of early neural reconstruction: architecture becomes navigable and continuous, while imperfect surfaces and transitions reveal how the model interprets missing visual information.

The technical experiment was approached as a visual storytelling tool rather than a technology demo for its own sake. Capture density, camera coverage and scene readability were considered together so the reconstructed space could remain understandable and visually convincing.

Result
A navigable spatial experience that turns a set of source photographs into something closer to a virtual camera environment. The project demonstrates how emerging capture tools can extend conventional photography into interactive presentation and new forms of visual communication.
